Hello, to you all Polkadoodles lovers.
Today I’ve made a tag with the beautiful Ula Swishy Tail.
I used the stamp kit together with Mermazing Ocean and Starfish & Sandcastles paper packs. I started by adding two papers to a tag from my stash. One of the papers, I ripped the edge off.
Next, I started to color the stamp with Copics. The pens I used are listed further down in this blog post.
Then, I cut her out with scissors. Some of the hairlines I had to cut out, but that
So, I stamped her again, but now on the tag with the papers, and then I glue the colored stamp over this stamped image. So then, the hairlines are back.
Next, I added some modeling paste through a stencil in the upper part of the tag. I also made a mixture of different kinds of art stones and gesso that I added in the bottom and at the edges of the tag.
When that dried, I started to add color the stones with some sparkling ink sprays. I used green, blue and pink for that. I also added some light blue color to the modeling paste. To the bubbles, I painted on some glitter glue and outlined them with a black
For a title, I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on one of the papers that I added to the tag. Then I die-cut it out with a pennant die. I also added another patterned paper behind it. I used some 3D foam pillows between them.
To the hole in the tag, I added a ribbon, string, and some sewing thread. Finally, I distressed the edges with distress ink.
I hope you liked my mixed media tag for Polkadoodles.
Have a crafty day!
