Mixed Media Canvas: Joy (step-by-step video)

Hello everyone.
I believe I’m in a canvas making period.
So here I am with yet another canvas, this time with a step-by-step video.

First, I applied light modeling paste through a stencil. Then I attached pieces from a board game. Then I painted it with two layers of white gesso.

Then, I start decorating the canvas with different kinds of embellishments. Chipboard pieces, paintbrushes, resin flowers, metal keys, clay pieces, paper flowers, buttons and some stones from flower pots. I painted it all with white after.

Then it was time to start color the canvas. I used different kind of colors from Dylusions Ink spray. Two kinds of blue, gray, black and white. After that, I mixed some sparkle dust with glossy accents and applied it to the butterflies and the dark flowers.

For the title, I embossed some chipboard letters with silver embossing powder. The letters I glued down to the canvas.

Have a crafty day! Be sure to watch the video on youtube.
